Blaenavon’s Love Food Festival returns
7:20pm Friday 27th January 2012

THE Love Food Festival will return to Blaenavon for a second year this weekend, giving visitors the chance to taste the best of Welsh produce.
The two-day festival, which will be held over Saturday and Sunday, was launched at Blaenavon’s Big Pit in the town last year to showcase local food and drink.
It also ties in with the week of St Dwynwen’s Day – or the patron saint of Welsh lovers – which fell on Wednesday this week. Stall holders will include local producers such as Rhymney Brewery, Welsh Farmhouse Apple Juice, Blaenafon Cheddar Company and cakes by the cafe at Llantarnam Grange Arts Centre.
Both days run from 11am until 3.30pm and admission is free.
