Talywain find the going tough at Oakdale
12:57pm Wednesday 25th January 2012
Oakdale 15 - 15 Talywain Talywain travelled to Oakdale expecting a tough game and certainly got one. It was a game that proved when you are top of the league you are there to be shot down and this proved so as Oakdale tore into the Talywain side giving them no respite at all.
Every time Talywain got in the lead Oakdale came back stronger and the game looked at one point to be getting away from Talywain but they dug deep to snatch a draw some how.
They even had a chance to winthe game at the death but the penalty went wide. Again Talywain picked up injuries to Kirk Needs and Steven Mayley to add to the growing list that they already have which proves that a big squad is required, they have to up their game if they want to progress in next week's cup game and to keep up the chase for promotion.
