Blaenavon pile up the points against Blaina

Blaenavon rfc 50 Blaina rfc 0 After five minutes from the kick off full back Gareth Groves scored the first try for Blaenavon. Outside half Tom Haines kicked the conversion.
Two minutes later Gareth Groves scored the second try beating the Blaina defenders with a great run, and the conversion was kicked by Haines.
At the quarter of an hour point centre James Davies scored the third try near the corner flag. Haines was wide with the kick but on target for the next one after centre Alan Scammell scored Blaenavon's fourth try.
With the score at 26 - 0 an injury to second row Jamie Noble allowed replacement Andrew Trumper to come on, playing his first game of the season after recovering from a knee injury. Tom Haines scored the fifth try and converted it himself with the last kick of the first half. The Blaenavon coaches were soon forced to make more changes.
Glenn Harvey came on for wing Ryan Basham and Jamie Ireland replaced Lewis John.
Scrum half Lloyd Parker scored the sixth try then 15 minutes later Tom Haines scored the seventh and kicked the conversion.
Lewis John went back on to replace tight head Lee Baker then with five minutes left wing Dan Morgan scored the last try of the match after a good run by Alan Scammell.
After matches postponed due to the weather Blaenavon stay in a good position in Division 4 and in the next fixture play at Oakdale on March 3rd.
